“Save Adams Vote Sonny”

Apparently an airplane pulling a banner that read “Save Adams, Vote Sonny” flew over Sanford Stadium Saturday during the Colorado-Georgia football game (which sadly the dawgs pulled out in miraculous fashion). I received an email from a Perdue supporter who was there and outraged at the thought that Perdue might support UGA President Michael Adams.

The Perdue campaign tells me they had nothing to do with the offending banner, and given the controversial nature of Adams’ Presidency, it would be strange for Perdue to align himself with him.

So, if Perdue is not responsible for this heinous act, who is? The Taylor campaign? Bobby Kahn? The Flaggers? Karl Rove? Inquiring minds want to know.

I wasn’t there so I didn’t see it but I love it. Who did it? Don’t know, but apparently someone who knows the truth.

It definitely was up there. I sat in awe for about 10 minutes…mostly wanting an excuse to turn away from the less than stellar game. It was there. For sure.

Haven’t heard about it; was off on business. Sounds like kkk/flagers but then I wouldn’t put it past Bobby Kahn out of desperation.

Also, for the record, I had to drive from St Mary’s to Columbus, Ga today. Haven’t done this drive in a while and noticed since last time many Perdue signs, both large and small in peoples yards and businesses all along the drive. The most prominent Taylor display was in a small flagger town ‘twixt Waycross and Tifton. In my opinion it looks like a kkk holdout. Also in Albany GA many Perdue signs in peoples yards, both large and small. And this is supposed to be “Taylor Country”? Yikes!

Oh, and also some Cagle ’06 was out there, no Jim Martin signs, One McBerry sign all beat down covered with weeds, and one large Taylor sign had fallen over with time and no one bothered to right it.

    Randy Miller,

You didn’t drive around Columbus too much then. Martin’s got signs everywhere in Columbus as does Cagle. Martin’s campaign came to CSU last year and spoke to the College Democrats and put out the small yard signs around that time. One of my best friends put out the large Cagle signs all over Columbus. Drive near CSU and you’ll see a ton of signs out. The candidates for Mayor are going sign crazy! Go east of Columbus around my way and you’ll start seeing the large Taylor and Perdue signs.
