Calvin Johnson caught two of the prettiest touchdown passes you’ll ever see last night for Georgia Tech against ACC foe Virginia. There’s no doubt about it, Calvin Johnson is the best wide receiver in College football today.

    Hey Tech fans, quick question.

    To win the ACC, FSU still is in your way is it not?

    ACC=best overall college conference.

    There isn’t a worthwhile football team in the acc, except va tech, and we haven’t seen a true test of how good they are. BC is looking better, but will probably be 8-4.

    Without CJ, tech looked like VA. CJ is the only saving grace for an otherwise mediocre team.

    When Bobby Bowden chose for FSU to join the ACC, he said that there wasn’t any way that FSU was going to play in the SEC weekend after weekend. Enough said about the ACC.

    the state of the ACC almost years ago is what you judge the current ACC by? Wow.

    If there was such a difference in quality between the ACC/SEC, why is it that since 1993, three National Championships have come from the SEC and…THREE from the ACC? Sounds like they are worlds apart.

    Let’s see,….the guy has one more game on everyone else and he’s ranked number 9 in the receivers category. Something’s not adding up to your assertion that he’s the best receiver in football now. I don’t know what kind of stats classes they teach there but there are much better receivers who have faced much tougher secondaries than Calvin.

    Try looking at Robert Meachem….much better talent and facing tougher secondaries.

    Oh, you’re right. He sucks.

    Get real. Even DAWGS recognize him as a phenomenal talent. If he had a QB taller than 5′ 8″ throwing to him, he’d bust the stats right off the charts. He will be incredible in the pros, which unfortunately will be next season.

  7. CHelf says:

    The guy has talent. I never denied that. But look what he’s faced. Give him some real secondary competition and see what happens. There are guys with tougher playing conditions with better stats than him that get no credit whatsoever.

    Try using a little logic and respond to the actual statements posted before taking this out of context and writing such a knee jerk emotional and irrational response.
