That Zogby Data

The Zogby poll, showing Garret Hayes with 8.1% and Sonny at 52.6% without Hayes should be big news for the Libertarians who have really come into their own in this state over the past few years.

But, let me put this succinctly: I trust a groundhog to tell me whether summer is coming more than I trust a Zogby Interactive poll. If you want to know why, just check out Crosstabs.

Zogby lost a lot of credibility in 2004 when he called the election for Scary Kerry.
The only poll that counts is election day. I think Sonny will win, but I don’t believe it will be a blowout.

I think the numbers are indicative of the feeling of most conservatives about sonny and E Johnson for that matter. Who wanted to raise taxes first thing…SONNY DID! The fact is for four years Sonny and Eric have lead a movement pandering to the middle and of mediocrity leadership. And to protect themselves they force out any opininion that differs from theirs. They hire children with no political experience and then wonder why the message is muddled at best. Zogby may not be right but I think dismissing the sentiment would be to stick your head in the sand.
