Fox is reporting that CT has only about 11 percent of precincts reporting, but Lamont is up 56-44 so far.
Apparently, there was an exit poll, but no one’s using it for projections.

In Gwinnett, about 1200 people have voted in the 4 Congressional district. The total votes case in the 4th CD race on 7/18 were 2054 votes. Thusfar, turnout seems higher than expected in that portion of Gwinnett.

FYI: The Gwinnett totals on 7/18 were:
Johnson: 847 or 41.24%
McKinney: 836 or 40.70%
Coyne: 371 or 18.06%

Chamblee precinct had about 100 voters by 9:30. Probably about a 70/30 split between Dems and Republicans. This is a low turnout/population precinct.

According to officials in the secretary of state’s office, 30,121 people took advantage of last week’s advanced voting. Of those 3,997 were in the 4th Congressional District.

Overheard at Montgomery Elementary: A man voting in the D run-off complained that Sin-thia and Hank weren’t on the ballot and was going to file a dispute (We’re in the 6th now, buddy).

I voted at Oak Grove precinct north central DeKalb. I was number 135 at 8:30 this morning, but I did not get a break down of how may GOP or DEM ballots had been cast.
Hank Johnson had supporters along Briarcliff Road and in front of Lakeside High and Oak Grove Elementary. There were large “vote today” signs along with persons holding Hank’s red signs. It looked very well organized.

Maybe her server’s overloaded. I got her site to load once, but not again.

And if I were her, the thing I’d be interested in changing on that site is the “Cynthia was right about 9/11 war games” link, which goes to a blog post that includes the following:

“This revelation about the war games is even more evidence 9-11 was an inside job. This brothers and sistahs is why the NeoCons and Zionists want to defeat Cynthia McKinney in this upcoming run off election!”

I suspect a lot of bad press could come from linking to such language.
