Weekly Standard on the McKinney-Johnson Debate

The Weekly Standard wrote a review of the McKinney-Johnson debate. They break it down like a boxing match and sums it up this way:

Johnson wins solely because his closing statement was coherent, which means he takes the fight, two rounds to one. Congratulations, Mr. Johnson. Let’s see if it helps you in the runoff.

Say what you think about it Flaming, but the Weekly Standard is read by more folks in powerful positions in DC than the AJC.

    Demon,

Does everything have to be black/white with you? Have you ever heard of a gray area? Did it ever occur to you that I HATE the AJC just as much as the weekly standard?

The point is, Bill Kristol and PNAC are a dying dream. A dream that should have died a couple of years ago. Cynthia Tucker and the AJC are also a dying dream (liberalism/progressivism) that should have died long ago.

    So, I say again:

    The Weekly Standard

    AKA

“The Weekly Rantings of Some Washed-Up Political Hacks who Are Pissed Off because their PNAC Wet-dream has no hopes of working out

    Look guys,

I don’t buy into the banter of the “journalista”. Okay. I prefer to get my news from the most trustworthy source–my gut. Did you know that you have more nerve endings in your gut, than in your brain? Look it up. Now, I’m sure some of your are going to say “I did look that up, and it isn’t true”. Well, that’s because you looked it up in a book. Next time, look it up in your gut. I did. My gut tells me that’s how the nervous system works.

You can tie a Colbert quote into ANY conversation.
