CQ does a wonderful job of reporting stuff that is already on the Washington Post. Sure they go a little more in depth, but how much do you really need to know? The Hotline, now that’s a wonderful website.

D-Beck, I agree … CQ is better at the policy stuff, which of course gets boring, but is unfortunately necessary many times. Most of CQ’s stories are pretty old anyways. I just checked The Note, though, and they don’t even mention GA Primaries, which I am surprised the Gang of 500 didn’t take a shot at Ralph. Hotline, RCP, and WSJ are my best media sources, in case you cared. Redstate and my old pal, Rich Galen on the blogging side …

Real Clear Politics. I like The Hill and Roll Call, but again, they’re better for policy stuff and happenings on the Hill, which gets really old and boring.

Uh . . . these publications are not on the shelves at Reed HQ. Where can his staff get a look at them — for the first time!
