Peach Pundit Threatened!!! Governor Too!!!

(How’s that for a sensational headline?! Eat your heart out Mr. Hearst!)

Who knew that because of a Peach Pundit post, the governor would be threatened politically, and Peach Pundit would be threatened legally. How bizarre. Here’s what happened:

Earlier today, Buzz posted a great piece about Gwinnett politics in which he quoted from this Bob Grigg’s post at Talk Gwinnett.

Mr. Griggs said

The DVDs were mailed on June 26 using Bulk Mail Permit #1402. That permit belongs to ABC Direct Marketing, P.O. Box 293, Grayson GA 30017, the mail house of Auveed and Chris Cauthon. Auveed is the daughter of Snellville Citizen Publisher Carolyn Bagheri. In fact, Chris himself signed in the 9,800 mail pieces at the post office.

This afternoon, Buzz received a phone call from some guy named Bill McKinney (no relation, apparently to Cynthia), which you can listen to here. This McKinney guy told Buzz that the governor, who I’m sure is really worked up over this, would “not be served well

Nice. Buzz, now all your posts are questionable “work.” Might as well go start taking em down, especially controversial ones like that 4th of July one! 😉

I say, blame it all on Ralph Reed.

Today, it didn’t rain, damn that Ralph Reed. We’re going to have a draught because of Ralph Reed.

My neighbors car doesn’t work and it’s all Ralph Reed’s fault.

    Serenity now Ralph Reed…

Actually…from what I’ve been told, one cannot call the Post Office to find out who owns a permit# unless the permit# has been used in a political piece.

I think you’re right Bill. Good thing this was a political piece. And, you can call to find out who signed in mail at the Bulk Rate office.

Go boys go! The more politico-flunkies you piss off, the better. This is indeed exciting news – particularly for the bloggerati. Yes, blogging IS the new investigative news!

    Love and kisses,

I am hearing a lot of people casting protest votes against Sonny. I think they are going to find out they’ve got some work to do if they want to secure a second term.
