New online poll

The Georgia Political Digest’s poll of the day:

Our readers have a chance to score the Casey Cagle/Ralph Reed debate sponsored by the Atlanta Press Club. The 1-hour debate aired on Sunday, July 9. The question is simple — who won?

The tally currently stands at 82%-18% in favor of Cagle, with 261 votes in. Doesn’t quite jive with my personal assessment of how the debate went, but I suppose that there’s no accounting for style.

[UPDATE]: FLASH POLL – The Cagle/Reed Results

The results are in, and it appears that our readers prefer Casey Cagle by a wide margin over Ralph Reed for Lt. Governor. There is also the possibility that none of Reed’s supporters read our web site — but we suspect from other indicators that is not the case. In any event, Casey Cagle received 80% (233 votes) of the 292 votes cast. Ralph Reed received 20% (59 votes). In 6 days, we’ll know the real count.

Reedites couldn’t vote in the poll today because they were in the bunker trying to come up with something to counter the Cagle Juggernaut. Its a bad day all around for Reed.

What? The great grassroots Ralph can’t GOTV for a stupid internet poll?

(w/ apologies to GPD for calling their poll stupid)

  3. Bill B. says:

Actually the Reed folks are talking to voters instead of doing stuff like this that won’t get votes.

Your on here Bill. Guess you must be all talked out.

What is funny is that Ralph Reed says he has 6000 activists an couldnt muster 3% to go online. They must be talking to A LOT of voters to be that busy.

    You guys are lame.
