Great job on the ads. TV really covers the bases while showcasing Gary’s experience and love for agriculture. Radio spot boils it down for the urban families – these are winners!

  2. SouthATL says:

It is okay. I haven’t made up my mind in this race and this doesnt really push me over the top for Gary. Just me though. What about Bob Greer? Seems like a pretty good guy.

If he is a Conservative Republican, then I am a Communist. (Oh and I am not a Communist, I am more conservative than Ann Coulter.)

I like where he is standing with all the kids. Fits him well.

  4. Groseclose says:

Well done ad! From all indication, Gary very well might win this race without a run off. At the very least, his campaign seems to surging toward the Primary.

the gary black tv ad –what a sad day———– obviously no one was giving this man advice about women, children or his demeanor—his hands are feeble and he looks like a child molestor in a room full of kids. Just waiting to get his hands on them. Who in the world put this out.??? Perhaps Gary Black needs to go back to his DEMOCRATIC ROOTS_________spend some of that lobbyist money wisely and get a focus group before putting this stuff on TV. What a turn off. It insults the intelligence of women and men in this state.

Women vote GARY. We are smart and we know what they call someone like you in the real world . IN Washington it is just lobbyist.

YOUR AD made my vote and that of most of the state an easy choice. Do yourself a favor stay off TV and hire someone to stand in for you ——–or better yet just don’t show like you have for most of the outings in the state.

  6. Groseclose says:

Aggie, the only thing feeble on this page is your attempt to disparage and libel the Georgia’s Next Commissioner of Agriculture. At least, in your panic, make your arguments believable and your position tenable.

  7. aggie says:

HONEY MY POSITION IS THAT OF ALL REPUBLICANS——–OF WHICH GARY BLACK IS NOT———-THANK GOD. HE IS A BIG KERRY SUPPORTER———-LOST THAT ONE HUH????????

WE ALL HAVE OUR OPINIONS AND YOURS ARE SAD. PANIC? DARLING I AM NOT RUNNING FOR ANYTHING AND SO WHAT WOULD I PANIC ABOUT?????????

MY OPINIONS ARE MY OWN AND NOT BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY ANYONE —-CAN YOU SAY THE SAME. ???????

LAST I HEARD THIS WAS THE RED WHITE AND BLUE OF AMERICA AND LIFE AND SPEECH WERE FREE.

IT APPEARS WITH THOSE GREEN AND BLACK SIGNS HE IS FROM SOME OTHER COUNTRY???????? MAYBE HE COULD BE A REPUBLICAN THERE. THE STATE OF GA DOES NOT ACCEPT FLIPFLOPPERS VERY WELL.

NOT TO MENTION I AM SICK OF MARK TAYLOR AND CATHY COX AS WELL——-MAYBE HE WILL SIT ON HER AND WIN BY BEING THE BIG GUY!!

LOOK IT UP DEAR. FREE SPEECH

  8. bowersville says:

Wow, from previous posts…Bl*wj*bs, now child molestors. What are ya’ll trying to accomplish. Get us to vote for Irvin in November? Calm down. “Look it up dear,” what type of comment is that?

  9. ConservativeFire says:

The only commercial of worse quality than this is Joh Konops.

We all need to remember on Monday to vote for the conservative State Senator with the experience to lead and advocate for our consumers and protect our families.

Brian Kemp is the choice in this race. Legislative experience means a lot more to me than a man who as been a special interest lobbyist and florist and basket weaver.

Vote for Brian Kemp, someone who has truly been advocating for Georgians and not for a Jack Abramoff Special Interest Lobbyist.

  10. Ben says:

This ad was not very good, it did not really have any substance to it. What was the deal with all the little kids??? Kind of odd, but Gary is an odd fella. I don’t know who’s add is worse Brent Browns or Gary’s???

Gary, your boys could have done better than this.

  11. Cotton Boll says:

Gary has tremendous support from women as I found on his website. They are from all over the state. I won’t cram this post full of the verbage from his site, but here is the link for Women for Black: http://www.votegaryblack.com/default.asp?pt=newsdescr&RI=239

Great ads by Gary Black and the team. It really shows his genuine concern for agriculture and I think the kids are great in the TV ad. Gary is taking another great stride in this campaign with the release of these ads. He is building the momentum it will take to topple ol’ Tommy in November.

  12. aggie says:

Yes, dear we all know exactly what Gary Black does for women!! He does it for men too. ??? The other three candidates have a much better grasp of the issues and life in mainstream GA than this yahoo. Perhaps a hand motion class to try to keep from crossing his fingers behind his back when he says he is a republican.

I guess I was not the only one that thought he was running for kindergarden director.

Mr. Kemp has admitted often he knows nothing of Agriculture(HE JUST NEEDS A JOB), Ms. Strickland and Mr Greer seem the only two real people in the whole race. Kemp is just looking for any other state job to not have to work at and Black just wants the power to swing his lobby.

My vote would have to be MR. Greer and my American Legion POst and my farmers in my town. They will be the ones who put anyone in the race against Irvin.

  13. aggie says:

If Gary Black gets any votes in GA—–I hope you are all ready to bend over and take it like a democrat.

Tommy Irvin taught him well. Yes sir may I have another. (hand out enter stage right) (hand out enter stage left)

  14. ConservativeFire says:

HAHA. Aggie you are a hoot. When has Kemp ever mentioned that he is just running to have a job?

Have you looked at his website? He is the only candidate that has a BOLD common sense plan that confronting the big issues in Georgia. He is the ONLY candidate in this race qualified to be Agriculture Commissioner.

However, you are correct on Gary Black. He is a liberal special interest lobbyist who is trying to parade himself as a conservative republican because he has 4 congressmen on his side that are bought and paid for.

Weak Commercials for a weak candidate. AGGIE are you dee or Bob?

  15. John Galt says:

Well produced tv ad, yes, but Black doesn’t look comforable in his own skin. The end shot with the kids in a kitchen is strange to say the least. And his hands are fidgety. For an Ag Commissioner ad, why not shoot it outside?

  16. HJ Bailey says:

What a awful commercial. One of the worst I have seen this year. Gary is rambling on about.nothing that even matters to most people in a million dollar kitchen with those little kids.

If he expects this to being him to victory he is sadly misjudging it.

To the people of Georgia, let’s make Gary black the loser he is on the 18th!!

  17. Cotton Boll says:

    Hj –
Your Kemp fetish has blinded you. Gary Black is going to win this thing and beat Tommy in November. Calling Gary a loser shows your own ignorance….sadly though, we have come to expect that from you. These ads are just another stepping stone to victory.

  18. HJ Bailey says:

Cotton, Deanna Strickland has lifetime of Ag Experience, does that make her qualified to Agriculture Commissioner? Hell no.

Gary, has experience in being a special interest lobbyist for big agri businesses. Oh what great experience.

People will elect the conservative state senator.

  19. John Silage Jr. says:

Brian Kemp will no beat Tommy Irvin. He simply will not click with the voters in South GA. The folks in South Georgia are comfortable with Black. I have spotted one Kemp sign in SOWEGA, and it was in an upscale community in Albany. Througout the small towns, all you see is Black signs. The General election will be won in South Georgia. Black can pick off Irvin supporters better than Kemp can.
Also, Black is by far the most qualified.

  20. John Silage Jr. says:

    HJ,

He doesn’t need to-he already has good support down here. I am almost certain he will be in the metro area-as he should. HJ, I was simply stating that the GOP nominee must be able to pick off Irvin supporters if we are to win the race. Black can do it-Kemp can’t!!!
