Tom Price will win handily on July 18th. He has strong conservative credentials and voters like him.

Price may be a Republican, but the following behavior certainly doesn’t sound like a conservative:

Last year, when fellow Republican Congressmen were calling for action against Communist China’s trade violations, Tom Price chose to side with China.

Our trade deficit with China is soaring in part because of China’s numerous trade violations. Republican Henry Hyde’s trade report estimated that the Chinese steal our intellectual property 90% of the time; estimates of the cost to US companies run as high as $250 billion per year. According to Congressman Lynn Westmoreland (GA-Rep), “China manipulates the value of its currency, it subsidizes its industries, and even allows what amounts to slave labor.

Great, more Price Konop! Just what I woke up for this morning.

How about a little more on the Handel vs. Stephens I mean Handel vs. Bailey poll from Insider Advantage…

    Handel up 18 on Charlie.
    Charlie up 2 on Bill.
Bill up 12 on Martin, so at least he’s got that going for him. (Which is nice)

Bill was also up on a weathergirl last night, but that’s another story.

“…Konop, who is trying to portray himself as more firmly Republican than Price.”

Konop’s only documented political contributions prior to this race were to dems…like Marcy Kaptur (OH-9) who in turn contributed thousands to dem candidates like Cynthia McKinney and John Barrow running in GA. Konop has a documented record of support for dems attempting to influence elections that unseat Republicans…not exactly a trait that causes one to believe Konop is more Republican than Tom Price.

13 more days til Konop can park the soccer mom van, hop back in the BMW and prepare for his county commission campaign in ’08.
