  1. GAWire says:

Ouch for Ralph. Finally, a poll of likely voters. Reed folks seriously can’t dispute these trends, and if their defense is to bash SV, then we will know they have no other argument to stand on!

  2. debbie0040 says:

Reed is still ahead and his ads have only just begun to run.

I am suprised that Taylor has really come up in the polls though.

  3. HSC Republican says:

Cagle has just started his ads as well. I would not call withen the Margin of error a lead for Ralph…more like a dead heat! This is where Cagle pulls out in the lead and where ralph stays in idle!

  4. 4ofspades says:

    Debbie,
I’m not slamming you, but Reed is ahead by the margin of error in the poll. That’s not a lot to get excited about. The other thing is the Fav/Unfav for Reed.

  5. HSC Republican says:

I think all the elections on the 18 are going to be real close! I do not think it will be a cake walk for anyone!

  6. debbie0040 says:

Don’t think so HSC. July 18th will determine who is right. Reed has been constantly hit by Cagle and the news media for the past year. Cagle has not. The polls will change. It is good news for Reed that he is still ahead.

You guys should check out the links for other states as well. Disturbing…

  7. HSC Republican says:

    Debbie,
What about Cagle’s adds? Do you not even count them? Reed and Cagle are toe to toe with funds so it will be pretty equal. It will be a late election night!

  8. HSC Republican says:

Debbie you still have not said if all the Republican State Senators and Sonny voted for the same bill Cagle did….are they all liberal? Or is Reed’s add a lie?

  9. debbie0040 says:

Cagle’s ads are rehashing the same things the voters have heard the past year.

Reed’s ads give voters something they have not heard about Cagle before. Something new not old news.

Cagle and Reed are not toe to toe with funding…

  10. 4ofspades says:

Debbie is correct as of the last disclosure Ralph did have a lead in $$$. Even if you do factor in the primary money vs the general election money.

  11. HSC Republican says:

Debbie I will ask you one more time, you still have not said if all the Republican State Senators and Sonny voted for the same bill Cagle did….are they all liberal? Or is Reed’s ad a lie? Can you just anwser this question?

  12. debbie0040 says:

    Off topic but breaking news.
Why doesn’t the U.S. have the balls Israel does?

Israeli warplanes flew over the home of Syrian President Bashar
Assad, Israeli officials said. The move apparently is aimed at pressuring
the Syrian leader to help get a captured Israeli soldier released.

  13. Bull Moose says:

Debbie isn’t answering the question about the entire Republican Caucus…

Also, I am curious as to what the leader of the Republican State Senators’ this about Reed’s ad and his attack on the entire Republican Caucus.

  14. nfire says:

Debbie is waiting for the Ralphie campaign to come up with some B.S. to feed people concerning that question. They haven’t thought of anything yet due to the blatant screw-up factor of that ad. It will take another day or two for them to come up with something they can repeat over and over and over again.

  15. Demonbeck says:

I just wonder how much they wasted on the ad and the media buy and if they will be able to pull it and put out a new one? How much money did Reed waste?

  16. Demonbeck says:

    I have another question….

If Ralph Reed were to stand next to a life size cardboard cut out of himself (which can be made using a simple 3×5 notecard) on a windy day, which one’s hair would move first? I’ve got money on the cardboard cut out.

  17. Bill B. says:

Hmmmm. Ralph is winning in this poll and has been winning in EVERY poll released but one. Which one?

“Cagle has Six-Point Edge” in the May 24 news release on the Cagle web-site (I don’t know how to make links work on here.

Soooo, either Cagle is losing ground since May 24th OR Cagle’s poll was a LIE.

    Wonder which?

  18. Bill B. says:

Hmmm? Posted the above at 10:30 and it’s now 1:30 and no response from the Cagleites. It’s a tough question. Either their boy is a liar or is losing momentum. They could do like their hero and make up an answer then retract it 7 weeks later! (Mark Taylor threatened me – Well he didn’t really threaten me that was just a typo on a press release) What a joke!

  19. Bill B. says:

6 p.m. and still no comment

Was the first poll a boldfaced lie? Or is Cagle losing ground at the rate of 10 points a month?
