Cagle Ad

Bull Moose sent along the Cagle ad, which I have here. Thanks to all who sent it to me, but Bull’s version was the only one I could get to work.

BTW, I’m in DC now after a long ordeal getting up the eastern seaboard. I showed my roommate both Cagle and Reed’s ads and I think I agree with his assessment — even though he is a Pennsylvanian yankee.

He says he thinks the Cagle attack portion is much more effective and hard hitting than Ralph’s attack portion, but he also thinks that Ralph’s personal portion is much more effective than Cagle’s. I think that’s about right. I wonder how much more effective Cagle could have been if it was him talking and not an announcer.

Cagle can’t open his mouth without revealing how unqualified he is for this job. I wouldn’t let him near one of my animals.

    Tater Tate,
What makes Reed more qualified? His lack of expirence in the State Senate, the dirty campaigns he runs, the lobbying for Enron, or how about his link to gambling money.

    I liked the ad.

Since many voters are already aware of the whole Indian Casino situation, I think it was a wise move to bring up bilking Enron retirees as a charge that voters might not be familiar with.

It also answers what is IMO the biggest charge that would concern voters about Cagle in Reed’s mailer piece–illegals. Few I’ve spoken with care about a missed vote or a piddly $1000; however, immigration is a hot button for many voters.
