Water Water Everywhere . . .

Our Senators have started yelling at the Army to stop using Atlanta’s water to save the fish.

Georgia’s two U.S. senators told the secretary of the Army on Thursday to stop using Atlanta’s source of drinking water to help sturgeon and mussels downstream in Florida until the Army can scientifically prove that the sacrifice is actually helping the rare species.

So, you’re telling me I can’t water my grass in N. Atlanta b/c a water/shell dwelling something or the other lacking an endoskeleton can enjoy N. Georgia’s pure H2O? I like seafood plenty, but I would prefer not having brown grass! 🙂

And before Bill Simon and the others jump down my throat about the true anatomy of a mussel, let me just say that I have no clue if they truely lack an endoskeleton or not. I don’t even know if they are mammals, amphibians, or what. I goofed off a lot during science class in school!

I wish Atlanta would stop sucking up all the water so some of us in South Georgia could have some.
