Where was Erick on this big vote?

This has pretty much absolutely nothing to do with Georgia politics (or anything relevant for that matter), but today’s WSJ Political Diary had an editorial about politics1.com’s (no link – go find it yourself) “Hottest Woman in US Politics” contest and I had a few questions.

If you care, TN GOP Rep Marsha Blackburn won, with SD GOP Rep Stephanie Herseth in 2nd place.

What I want to know is:

1) where was Katherine Harris on the list; 2) how IN THE NAME OF EVERYTHING GOOD AND HOLY did Mary Landrieu get in the top 10; and 3) where were you, Erick, when you had a chance to get your Cathy-with-a-C Cox uber-crush on the list?

On a side note, it appears that Republicans have more attractive women in office.  Surprise, surprise.

That was admitedly just a cheap shot I was taking, ulmont … I really wasn’t basing that claim on anything substantial, nor did I look to even see what the top 10 was (I did look at Blackburn’s site, though).

But, boy, you really showed me … I’m sure the NY Times will be knocking down your door to hire you for your investigative skills, or maybe Bill Simon will give you a job.

I voted for Blackburn. If you’ve ever had her whisper in your ear (3 occasions!!!), . . . sorry, gotta go take a cold shower now.

Right, GAWire…because things like “accuracy” and “facts” are not things that
people like you can be concerned about.

Have you had your video-colonoscopy yet with Bill Frist? You and he should make a great pair in 2008.

Geeze louise … you try to make a joke on s/t completely not political and people think its open season with stupid comments.

Erick, cool off! Your wife is definitely going to get jealous! To be honest with you, though, I’m jealous of the ear whispering. I might form a newfound concern for the people of Rep Blackburn’s district and head up to TN to volunteer 🙂

The photo politics1.com included for the vote of Marsha Blackburn was, by far, the best photo she can offer. If you go to her campaign site she looks like an old, old grandmother. Herseth, or that Assemblywoman from California (can’t remember her name) should have run away with it. I guess a large segment of politics1.com readers are into grannies.
