Something Else on Handel

The legislature has permitted referenda to be held in North Fulton for both Johns Creek and Milton. The referenda will be held on the same day as the primary.

I suspect those referenda within Handel’s natural political territory will drive up her base’s turnout numbers. I wonder if David Shafer, a known Handel supporter, had that in mind during consideration of the issues and what role he actually played in getting those referenda on the calendar for that day.

    Voter Outrage Of the Day,
Senator Stephens failed to recognize that Handel’s home district will be out in record numbers to support Milton & John’s Creek? Looking back, he probably would have voted against it, before he voted for it, had he known what he knows now.
