Strategic Visions’ Latest

They have a new poll. Mark is gaining on Cathy. Sonny is still around 56% popularity. The President is not doing so hot. Ralph’s negatives are higher than his favorables, but he has yet to be in a poll where he is losing to Casey or within the margin of error. Casey still has huge undecideds. And Rudy Giuliani is at the top of the ticket for 2008, which McCain on his heels.

That poll on Bush’s approval rating in GA makes GA look really out of the mainstream nationally.

Caroline, the poll from Strategic Vision would likely make a lot more sense to you if you knew the numbers were pretty much ALL made-up results.

Is Strategic Vision a crack pot polling organization? I haven’t seen much of their polling compared to other pollsters.

While Dick Williams on the Georgia Gang seems to be in love with them, he doesn’t pay for the polls, nor does anyone else, it seems. So, if no one is paying for the poll, then you have to wonder how can they afford to do a very accurate poll? Answer: You cannot.

SV’s tactic is to “produce” poll results to get their name printed in the paper and build marketing name recognition for themselves.

    Bill Simon,

Thanks for answering my question. The Roe v. Wade question that they had on that poll is way off the results from SUSA. I haven’t seen many of the other questions polled in GA before.

I dont know, they seem to be pretty accurate. Even though I personally have an unfavorable oppinion of Ralph Reed, I will have to say I was suprised to see he had a higher UNFAVORABILITY rating than a FAVORABLE one. Casey is in good shape though, were not ahead yet but we will be. The one thing that did suprise me more than any was that Guliani was leading in Georgia…that must have been the Reed suporters voting for him to prove that he has a “huge imapct” on how Georgians vote. The Presient’s ratings make sence, they were 43% last month here in Georgia..so they went up 3…every thing else really seemed accurate. Ohh..yes, I predicted Mark Taylor would start rising to the top for the Dems…I think the next poll you see he’ll be leading Cathy Cox. But still about the same in a head to head with Sonny.

http://www.surveyusa.com has an interesting poll..they have Perdue at a 59% approval rating…rather than the above 56%..they have a 50 state tracking poll network, so they have the aproval rating of all Governors, U.S. Senators, and each states approval rating on President Bush…it also breaks it dowm in to Demographics
