Gunter has drawn a primary opponent as well, so it should prove interesting to see if his ‘change’ is effective.

It’s too bad that elections for prosecutors are partisan and some like Gunter have to switch parties. Gunter is a most effective District Attorney and a member of the board for the Prosecuting Attorney’s Council of Georgia this year.
The true test of a good District Attorney or Solicitor-General isn’t if they are a democrat or a republician; it’s if they are hard on crime and determined to see justice done.
