I have spoken with Jerry Wyatt a couple times and seen him at various events. So far, I have been very impressed with him. Having served on the GA GOP executive committee, he’ll probably have a tough time getting votes in the 4th, but I wish him well.

I think the race in the 4th district is about effective representation, not partisan politics. If a reputable, reasonable individual comes to the table in this race, I plan on supporting that person regardless of party. We need someone who cares about the day-to-day issues and concerns, not someone who takes every chance to grandstand on obscure concepts that do nothing to help our families.

Jerry is a good man. I imagine he will do quite well. He understands people.

It appears that Jerry Wyatt is running in the Democratic Primary against Senator Gloria Butler in District 55, not against McKinney as a Republican.
