A Pulitzer for the AJC.

Mike Luckovich has received a Pulitzer Prize for his cartoons.  Though nominated, the AJC did not win for their coverage of the Brian Nichols Courthouse shooting, nor for Cynthia Tucker’s editorial writing.

  1. That knocks the Pulitzer down a couple of more levels in my book. Mike Luckovich is an embarrassment and one of the main reasons I can no longer stomach the AJC. He’s Cynthia Tucker with crayons and an easel.

    🙂

Luckovick is the classic “I hate America” lunatic leftwing newspaper employee these days. Of course, the further left you get, the more likely you are to win an award from your cohorts. Slap each other on the back, congratulate each other and dont worry about falling subscription rates.

Mick Luckovick is the best political cartoonist in America. He is hilarious and to-the-point day in and day out. But most important, he has the guts to stand up to the right-wing loudmouths and tell the truth, especially when it comes to challenging the growing power of America’s theocrats. Congratulations, Mike!

You two must be kidding. Luckovich’s work is provocative and it questions conventional wisdom about current events–the infamous “WHY?” for example. That’s *exactly* what an editorial cartoon should do!

Cynthia didn’t win, because she doesn’t stand out enough from other liberal writers. That’s also fair.

    Bravo, Mike!

Man, you guys have no sense of humor. Oh, I guess it’s because he points out right wing hypocrisy just about everyday. Are you gonna take your toys and go home now?
