Miles for Lt. Governor?

I’ve been told that State Senator Steen Miles (D-43) is jumping in the race for Lieutenant Governor. This was confirmed with Miles yesterday at the Capitol.

I assume that Mark Taylor will be first in line to support her, as per her undying support for his campaign for gov.

I think this woman is extremely poised and eloquent and, generally, right on issues. But, really–Jane Fonda? She knows this is a statewide office, right?

  2. Steen “the Newslady” Miles needs to stay in the Senate; that would be the common sense thing to do.

Of course, to quote Sen. Miles, “If common sense was common then everyone would have some”.

Fresh from her disastorous encounter with Sen Douglas on the Jane Fonda episode, Miles announces for state wide office? Only in the Democratic party could such a huge loss make a candidate believe they were ready to move on up……

The plain talking, common sense Douglas is the person who ought to be running for state wide office….

It puts her right in line for Fonda’s money though. Though it seems if you even mention Jane Fonda in Georgia you are looking to get your as5 kicked.
