Immigration is going to be the NUMBER ONE issue in this coming election and in the 2008 election…

We must stand up and protect our country. LEGAL immigration is fine and there is a process in place, but enough is enough of the illegal immigration. The laws on the books should have been enforced and now we need to crack down and send a stern message to those who would try and enter this country illegally.

Inflaming illegals and their (primarily student) supporters to protest, as many are doing all across the country now, is one thing.

So is resorting to smearing D.A. King’s mission by suggesting he’s a white supremist, as some people mentioned in the AJC article most certainly did. (King is by no means a white supremist. I know commie liberal NPR-listeners who have heard his message and support him.)

But what about our family, friends and obnoxious neighbors who are making money hand over fist by employing illegals for their construction sites, work crews, etc.? (Hell, illegals built/build this city, not rock and roll, but I diverge…)

Those kind of cul-de-sac Republicans would be the first to NOT do anything at all about immigration reform. They just look the other way and send them back to Buford Highway where the iilegals are suddenly are able to magically aquire all the right paperwork to get back on the job – fast too.

Wink, nod, phoney papers, cash flows in. Everybody’s happy, right?

    We can’t do nothing…

Yes, America is a nation of immigrants, but by and large, all of us came over here LEGALLY and thus we MUST stand up in support of LEGAL immigration.

Had our government enforced the laws of the land for the past 20 or so years, this would not be a problem, but everyone turned a blind eye.

It’s not a matter of ethnicity or culture, it’s a matter of law and order.

Again, this is the most important issue come 2006 and 2008.
