Reed in Warner Robins

The Telegraph reports that Ralph Reed will be in Warner Robins on Saturday as part of grassroots victory conference for his campaign. I wonder how many Cagle supporters will be in attendance.

  1. Jack S says:

Some hype, a press release and a few delusional yet rabid sheep for followers won’t save ol Ralphie.

For hte good of the Party, I hope he announces his withdrawal at this event. Ok, now I’m being delusional.

  2. GAWire says:

“””For hte good of the Party, I hope he announces his withdrawal at this event. Ok, now I’m being delusional.”””

“For the good of the Party?”

C’mon, Jack, you know Ralph Reed doesn’t have any intentions to do anything “for the good of the Party!”

  3. Maurice Atkinson says:

Delusional is probably right. What gets me is that he says the same canned explanation verbatum to each group and press release about his relationship with Abramoff. His supporters are the ones who apologize for him.

As much as I appreciate his past organizational work, it really raises my ire in that he must feel he is exempt from ethical standards. And, a couple of days ago I get an email from his campaign with this heading “CAGLE PUT CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS AHEAD OF PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS” calling into question some of his campaign donors and missing a legislative vote. This coming from a man who has manipulated the political process to line his wallet.

  4. larry smith says:

Tim Phillips was there and told everyone that it was God’s will that Ralph would win …. seriously.

I just wonder how long it took the Reed to team to get anything that would conduct lightning out of the room before they said that.

  5. MikeS says:

Reed needs to withdraw for the good of the party. If he has this much opposition in the Primary, he is a sure loser in the general. Plus, he endangers the re-election of the Governor.

  6. Bull Moose says:

Ralph Reed will bring down the ENTIRE GOP ticket from the Governor on down all the way to the local level…

Those who would support him are falling for the fancy speak…

    It is very very unfortunate…

  7. Bull Moose says:

Beware, those who attach there names to Ralph Reed will have to defend every bit of his dealings… from Jack Abramoff and the tribes to Channel One to Enron…
