The Voice of the Party

The Hill offers this bit today:

Rep. John Shadegg (Ariz.), who lost his bid for majority leader, would become a higher-profile spokesman for Republicans, said Kingston and Cole.

Kingston might discover a taste for the role himself. He can be sharp-tongued, recently describing former President Jimmy Carter’s performance at the funeral of Coretta Scott King as “pathetic.

  1. Bull Moose says:

The only thing that Jack needs to do is not be afraid to buck the system a little bit more and I think that he’d see his flag fly even higher.

However, that’s easier said than done in a system built on tradition and seniority.

There are only a few issues where I disagree with Jack, but for the most part think he does a good job representing Republican ideals on the national media stage.
