It’s the association factor that is going to be more of a blow to Reed – I really don’t think he will be indicted or connected to any illegal wrong doing before the Primary; however, the worse Abramoff looks, the more it will hurt Reed b/c of his associations.

As far as an opposing campaign perspective … the more Ralph is on the defensive about this, the more it connects him to Abramoff and in turn hurts him.

From Casey’s Read about Reed site in response to Ralph’s denials:

    Volume V: Ralph’s False Denials

In a forum last night, lobbyist and Lt. Governor candidate Ralph Reed was asked whether he received any “gifts, gratuities, or money

Ralph says on his website that Abramoff approach him, but in his emails it clearly shows Ralph approached Abramoff about “humping corporate clients”.

I’m beginning to think that everything about Ralph Reed is a lie.

  4. What is Ralph going to do if he drops out or if when he loses?

His business is done, all of his big corporate clients are gone.

Could you imagine having been watching the Alito hearings all week, if Ralph was in that hot seat? It could happen.
