It’s not just Charles Walker who is having a day in court.
Former state schools Superintendent Linda Schrenko’s corruption trial is scheduled to begin in federal court March 6.
U.S. District Court Judge Clarence Cooper set the date for Schrenko and her co-defendants, computer executive Stephan Botes and Peter Steyn, chief financial officer of Botes’ Computer Consulting Services Corp.
Schrenko faces charges in an alleged scheme to steal more than $600,000 in federal education money. All three have pleaded not guilty.
