New Endorsement

We’ve heard about this for a while, but it is apparently now official. John Linder has endorsed Gary Black for Agriculture Commissioner.

The looong Black train just keeps adding supporters….Congressmen Linder, Westmoreland, Norwood and Deal. Way to get on board fellows! Congrats to the Black campaign!

As I’ve said before, we’ll see where the endorsement/money game is in the next few weeks.

I could be wrong but every time the black campaign starts panicking and ranting about how great they are kemp pops up and spanks them.

We’ll see. This will be fun.

Endorsements dont mean anything when your guy has none…

Didnt know the horse fancier was into spanking… he sure isnt into winning a statewide race at this time.

Right, Rome…I sure hope you’re going to be starving by the time the primary or run-off decides this race. Because you’re going to have LOTS of words to eat. 🙂

Bill when is your boy going to release his list of 3 state senators that have endorsed him?

Did anybody else see that Black was recently asked to testify before the Congressional Committee on Homeland Security as an expert about the effects that H.R. 3197, the Secure Handling of Ammonium Nitrate Act of 2005, could have on Georgia Farmers and Agriculture Community? When was the last time Kemp was called on as an expert on something besides spanking horses?

Yes, ask John Linder about his term limits pledge to only serve 6 terms. He’s now running for his 7th. Yes, hypocrites do endorse each other…

Rome…you don’t quite get how people are elected, do you?

They are NOT elected on the number of endorsements. They are NOT elected on the basis of how much “smoke” they can generate…that is, the fact that Gary Black testified in front of Congress means ZIP to the job of Ag Commish here in Georgia.

In 2002, Bob Barr generated a lot of smoke and got his name published everywhere with a whole bunch of endorsements…guess what? He lost because he had no real substance behind his campaign. Gary Black is the same way.

That John Linder has decided to take a ride on a horse he knows nothing about, and try to pick the winner, means nothing to the people who actually elect a candidate. I know for a fact that Linder likes to put his name on races he thinks will win, but, in this case, I think John Linder will be mistaken on his endorsement.
