The Agenda

The Speaker has outlined his intended agenda to the AJC. We can expect a business friendly legislature, more on voter IDs, and education to be big issues. Also, the legislature is going to have to deal with eminent domain and health care costs.

  1. Decaturguy says:

“We’re not going to pass a bunch of new laws to affect people’s lives, regulate businesses and restrict freedoms,” Richardson said.

We can only hope and pray.

  2. Tater Tate says:

How about a tax cut? Is that too much to ask? Or are we going to be like our Republican Congress and just spend every dollar we can find and then some?

  3. Chris says:

Does anyone know how the state’s reserve fund works? Is it some big bank account some where? T-Bills? Paid down lines of credit?

  4. Ben King says:

Man, I hate laws that affect people’s lives! I prefer my laws to have no practical application at all, with little to no real effect.
