It’s looking more and more like this is going to be a successful event. 3 pm on a week day is a tough one. But, from what I am hearing is that there will be a very good crowd.

Both campaigns are far better organized, at this juncture, than Isakson, Cain or Collins were in the last statewide races. I remember organizing a meet and greet for Herman Cain in Dec. of ’03. He ended up speaking to 7 people. That was when it was Herman who? There is buzz in this campaign.

He can pick up the dregs in middle GA. Most of the GOP money and activists are already with Ralph according to my sources up there. Judy Goddard and Debra Lyons helped Ralph take this area early on.

Tater, I am hardly the dregs, and your implication that those who support Cagle instead of Mr. Reed are less than, is really pathetic.

Tater, also I would hardly say the activist are backing Reed. Yes you have Goddard, who supports Ralph along with a good chunk of the hierarchy in Houston. Bibb is split and I would suggest that there is a majority supporting Cagle.

Many are leaving Ralph due to his ethical lapses. I, for one, have. I appreciated Ralph’s work with the CC. I chaired a county in Indiana for several years. And, I supported Ralph as Party Chairman here. But after reading the massive amount of fact from the Senate oversight committee and speaking with Jim Metlock from http://www.obligation.org I have decided to stay away from him. The evidence is clear and overwhelming.

Georgia deserves better. As I have spoken with Cagle and his staff, he is an admirable person who has a vision and wants to make a difference the right way.
