The Rail Line Stalled

This is good news for taxpayers.

A decade-old effort to bring commuter trains to Georgia stalled again Wednesday when members of the Department of Transportation Board said they would likely postpone any vote on the matter until August.

Hanging in the balance are plans to develop Georgia’s first modern-day passenger rail line, which would run from Atlanta to Lovejoy, a suburb 25 miles to the south in Clayton County.
