The Tifton Gazettetakes a look at Ralph Reed stumping in South Georgia.
Republican power broker and candidate for the number two spot in Georgia government Ralph Reed stopped in Tifton Wednesday.
Coming off a five-county tour Tuesday, Reed began phase two of his campaign to become the state’s next Lieutenant Governor by speaking to hospital officials in Tifton.
Reed, former head of the Christian Coalition and of the Georgia Republican Party, managed the Southern component of President George W. Bush’s presidential campaign. He is vying for the Republican nomination for the spot currently held by Democrat Mark Taylor, who is leaving his post to run for governor.
