Cagle Endorsement

Before I go off for Father’s Day weekend (my first), I’m told Mike Bowers, Georgia’s former Attorney General, has endorsed Casey Cagle and did so surrounded by all the metro-Atlanta area sheriffs who are also Republican (Cobb, Gwinnett, Hall, Forsyth, Cherokee, Dawson and Douglas).

Gainesville, GA – State Senator and Lt. Governor candidate Casey Cagle announced today the endorsements of several top Georgia law enforcement officials. The following officials will lead the “Law Enforcement for Cagle campaign, which will organize law enforcement personnel and their families across the state of Georgia:

    – Former Georgia Attorney General Mike Bowers

    – Cobb County Sheriff Neil Warren

    – Gwinnett County Sheriff Butch Conway

    – Dawson County Sheriff Billy Carlisle

    – Hall County Sheriff Steve Cronic

    – Carroll County Sheriff Terry Langley

    – Douglas County Sheriff Phil Miller

    – Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton

“There is no legislative priority more important for our state than ensuring the men and women on the front lines of law enforcement have the resources and support they need to keep our communities safe. Our local and state law enforcement officials are our first line of defense against threats from criminal predators to international terrorists, and I am proud to stand with them, said Cagle.

“We are focusing our efforts on building a strong and real grassroots campaign supported by community leaders right here in Georgia, not on winning support from political celebrities and Washington insiders. It is a huge encouragement to have the support of these top leaders, and I am honored to welcome them to our team, Cagle continued.

Raised by a single mom, Casey Cagle seized the American Dream to become a successful, self-made business leader and one of the most experienced Republican leaders in the State Senate. A devout believer, a devoted husband, and a proud father, Casey Cagle has been the champion for Georgia’s families at our State Capitol for over a decade. As our next Lt. Governor, Casey Cagle will continue to passionately advocate our values and lead with a vision of opportunity for all of Georgia.
