The One Where The GOP Becomes Incontinent

I’ve heard this rumor from Republicans for a few weeks. We’ve all laughed about it and traded nervous glances. Now the Democrats are talking about it to. With June 30 right around the corner, it only makes sense.

Two Democrats I’ve spoken to, one elected and one who is not but might as well be, have said party leaders are already whispering about a deal. What if, goes the hypothetical, Cathy Cox should show her fundraising is better than expected? Well then, the hypothetical continues, the Democrats should strike a deal with Mark Taylor. The deal would be an an aggressive effort to recapture the Senate, leave Taylor at Lt. Gov., and should the Republicans keep the Senate, have Governor Cox give Taylor new powers and a more prominent role — not co-Governor, but you get the idea.

The hypothetical is being talked about more and more. Everyone is just waiting for June 30.

Actually, what is more probable is that a meglo-manic will be elected speaker, piss off the rest of the caucus, alienate the senate and cause the house to lose seats when we should be gaining them.

I doubt that the Cox-Taylor faustian pact would work for the children.

  2. shep1975 says:

Why is it all about the children with you Chris? What about the senior citizens? Keep this nonsense up and someday in the future, people may start referring to you as rat bastard farris!

  3. Chris says:

Shep – as I’ve said before, I hate children. Therefore I want all the dumb things politicans do to be for the children. That way everyone else will hate children too.

    Its all for the children.

  4. Lorie says:

Define “dumb”. If it’s education and healthcare, it’s obvious that the politicians are already hating the children.
